Dr. Joyce Starr won a landmark Florida condo case dealing with the right to keep her pet (pets in condos). Refusing to cave in to the illegal demands of an abusive Condo Board, she continued her battle for two years - until the Board voted to drop the case and grandfather in her pet cat. She wrote a book documenting her story and lessons learned: (Defend Your Condo & Homeowner Rights: What You Must Do When the Board Turns Your Life Upside Down).
She founded a niche publishing house - STARRPublication.com - focusing on homeowner, health and pet care rights. Her publishing imprints include Dr. Joyce STARR Publishing and Little Guy PAWPRINT Press.
